During the last two decades, Peter Massey has had more than a dozen works produced throughout the U.S. including the critically praised Versus of Ogden Nash at both the Coronet Studio Theatre and Actors Conservatory Ensemble, Cock Tales, (contributing writer) which ran eight months at the Zephyr and Elephant Theatres, and I'm Still Dancing, which was honored by the Florida Theatre Conference.
He served two years as Managing Director of the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles and six years as Artistic Director of Florida's Riverfront Theatre, garnering numerous local awards. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America and Actors Equity Association.
Also a composer-lyricist, Peter's musical Cirque So Gay has been given local concert readings and a workshop, and is undergoing further development toward a production in L.A. Current projects include the family drama Tread Softly which received a public reading at Macha in West Hollywood in 2009 and The It Girl about the gay community in the 1920s, which will be in development with readings in 2010.
