Roger Bean is the creator of the long-running off-Broadway hit The Marvelous Wonderettes, which played two years at the Westside Theatre in NYC, a record-setting 18 months in Los Angeles (El Portal), and has seen over 500 productions throughout the US and abroad. Mr. Bean also created two Wonderettes sequels: Winter Wonderettes and Wonderettes: Caps & Gowns, with a new sequel Wonderettes: Dream On landing in 2016. Other published musicals created by Mr. Bean include Summer of Love, The Andrews Brothers, Why Do Fools Fall In Love? and Route 66.

Roger Bean is the president of Steele Spring Stage Rights, one of the foremost independent theatrical publishers in the United States, administering stock and amateur rights throughout the country and abroad. Based in Los Angeles, Steele Spring Stage Rights is also the publishing partner of the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF).
