Synopsis:
Three young men, Puerto Rican, white and half breed American indian, misfits from society, find refuge and bonding in a secret hide away in the basement of a LA morgue. It is the early hours of July 5, 1962. They learn that Marilyn Monroe has died and her body lies in the autopsy room next to them, and the door is unlocked.(text included if black actor cast instead of half breed indian)

Body was the premiere original play produced by the Players Ring, Portsmouth, NH in 1993 and has been reprised there three times. Body was honored with a reading by the late Tom O'Horgan on March 29, 1994 in NYC. It is referenced in The Immortal Marilyn" by John DeVito and Frank Tropea.
