Synopsis:
It is 1973. Two Mississippi men out fishing on the Pascagoula River, reveal their personal demons and the generation gap between them. Hoping to share his love of fishing, the older man George retells his tired “one that got away†tale, of a redfish grown to mythological proportions. But the younger Eugene feels only sympathy for the embattled fish, and their beliefs seem more polarized than ever. As their estranged relationship unfolds, these beliefs are put to the test by a strange encounter with an unidentified flying object. Despite their shared abduction, the men remain divided on how to tell this new story, until a more familiar tale rears its mythic head from the depths of the Singing River. Based on actual events.
