Synopsis:

Murmurs and Incantations tells the story of Ben Levitts, a gay performance artist whose past losses have left him with a decades-long case of creative block. When an old family friend invites him to perform in Poland, the country he fled as a child, Ben--in a last-ditch effort to revive his career--reluctantly accepts. Ben’s fateful journey opens the floodgates of history and memory, hastened by a visitation from the feisty ghost of his grandfather, a rabbi killed by the Nazis. Will Ben work through his grief and regret, and rediscover his creative powers once again?
