Synopsis:
CAGNEY! is the story of the legendary actor, from his start as a vaudeville song-and-dance man to his rise as the screen's greatest tough-guy. It dramatizes Cagney's titanic struggle with Jack Warner to break free from the violent characters the Hollywood studio system forced him to play, and his fight to overcome accusations that he was a communist.

Premiered 2009 at the Florida Stage where it broke the theatre's 24-year old box office records and received rave reviews. Won the Florida Carbonell Theatre Award for "Best New Work". Premiered in Canada at The Drayton Festival in 2010, and transferred to the Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach (Florida's largest producing venue) in Nov 2010.
