About Cailin M. Harrison
I am American and Irish citizen, who is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s (USC) MFA screenwriting program. I'm a lover of all spicy foods, drinks, and sauces. After living and working in London, New York and Chicago in film, television and theatre, I am loving the climate change of living on Venice Beach here in LA.Some of my plays that have hit the stage include “Waitless” (full length drama) Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015,/Hollywood Fringe Festival Producer’s Choice Award 2014, “Whole Foods” and “Talk in Ten” (short plays) Hollywood Fringe Festival 2012, “Oh Christmas Tree – Why Me?” Monoslam series Secret Rose Hollywood 2011, “Binding Ties”(full length drama) Network Theatre/Man on the Moon Productions London 2010, “Connections” (one act) Cheeky Maggot Theatre staged workshop 2009 and “Time Out” New York Fringe Festival 2001.
My past work in film and tv includes time with companies including CBS, FOX, USA, New Line, Columbia Pictures and Viacom Networks and ISSA-UK. I am currently a member of Fierce Backbone, Women in Film and Television, Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights, and several USC women’s film organizations.
My favorite ways to avoid writing, directing and producing are globe trotting, sailing, swing dancing and shooting wildlife (with a camera)and playing with my cats Falstaff and Viola.
