About Christopher Cid
Christopher Cid (He/They) is a working playwright, producer, and director. His written work focuses on the life, culture, and intersectionality of Queer and Latino stories. He has had workshopped readings for his plays, such as Mayor Tubbs (Full-Length Political Satire Play) and Ganymede: A Mexican Tragedy (A Full-Length Adapted Drama). He has been a director for many new play developments, such as The Sun Sets in the West (By Kyomi Woong) and Recollective Cacophony (By Ryan Manikowski), Fast Food The Musical (By Veronica Driscoll), and many others. He most recently has also begun his pursuits in Producing, such as this year's “John Lion New Play Festival” at Cal State LA and an unannounced play for Cal State LA’s new season. He graduated with a B.A. in Theatre Arts from CSU, Long Beach, and is currently working on their MFA degree from CSU, Los Angeles, in Television, Film, and Writing (with a concentration in writing). He is currently based in Los Angeles County.
