About Kim Bixler
Kim Bixler is a songwriter, author, playwright and public speaker from Southern California. In addition to her musicals, plays and monologues, Kim has authored and edited several books, including her latest: Growing Up in a Frank Lloyd Wright House. Kim can be seen in the PBS documentary Frank Lloyd Wright’s Boynton House: The Next Hundred Years. Her latest show BARBA: Brazilian Body Percussion Musical was a 2024 NAMT Recommended Musical, featured at Jacob's Pillow Musical Theater Performance Ensemble, part of Michigan State's Musicalturgy Program, selected as part of the Latiné Musical Theater Lab Reading series and had a limited, sold-out Off-Broadway run in February 2024 at Pregones Theater in the Bronx.
