About Robert Joseph Ahola
Robert Joseph Ahola is an author, playwright, producer and director who lives in Malibu, California. As CEO of Galahad Films Robert has written and produced more than 300 films and documentaries for theater, television, and private distribution. He has scripted a number of screenplays, including WORLD CLASS/The Jerry Quarry Story, Whitman (based on The Leaves of Grass, by poet Walt Whitman released in 2012), The Irenic Principle and two TV Episodics, VIP and Master of Discretion (currently in development).
Mr. Ahola is an author of fourteen published books including The Return of the Hummingbird Wizard, I, Dragon, The Silent Healer, Africa Arrives and Epiphany.
Robert has authored several published and/or produced full-length plays, including Pavlov's Cats, The Year of the Tiger, HIGH TEA/With His Excellency, Dr. Max Love, A Meerkat Christmas, SCOREKEEPER, Judas Agonistes, NARCISSUS: The Last Days of Lord Byron and The Decline and Fall of Us All.* He has also written eight one act plays: the award-winning The Ghost and Josh Gibson, The Last Othello, Finding the Greater Fool, Death by Helium, The Last Refuge, Genesis 6: God Gets Mad and Kills Everybody, and End of Life Counseling.
A winner of two Clios, Mr. Ahola is a lifetime member of ALAP, a member of SAG/AFTRA, Dramatists Guild, the Author's Guild, and is a Board Member of the Malibu Stage Company.
