Swimming in the Big T
by Nalsey Tinberg
Synopsis: When a young Philosophy professor finds herself in the middle of a college controversy over the firing of a gay administrator (and a budget crisis to boot!), issues of academic freedom collide with personal ambition. What does having the "Big T" (ie. tenure) matter in such circumstances? A romp of campus politics where the wisest people on campus are a recently deceased faculty member and his mistress, a feisty Hispanic cleaning woman.
