Synopsis: The Old Woman Who Slew a Dragon-fox is an interdisciplinary, theatrical fable based on the anti-nuclear work of Carrie Barefoot Dickerson, an American activist who led the successful fight to stop the construction of Black Fox Nuclear Plant in Oklahoma, and a young New York girl's dream to shut down The Indian Point Nuclear facility in New York along the Hudson River. With music, dance/movement, and spoken word verse, along with interactive audience participation, the unlikely pair of an urban child and her dream in collaboration with the wisdom and actions of an older, rural woman, find each other in their fearless fight against the nuclear demons of this world.
