About Nalsey Tinberg
Nalsey Tinberg is the author of three produced full-length plays. Most recently, her semi-autobiographical play Cakewalk was part of Houston's Main Stage season, produced in November 2011 to outstanding reviews. It had been previously produced as a staged reading as part of the NY Chapter of the Television Academy's play reading series hosted by Arlene Dahl on
Her most recent play, A Teachable Moment, is set in well-to-do women's college in 2010. A Pultizer prize winning tenured history professor is found to have fabricated his own Viet Nam War history, a situation which causes mayhem at the college. A metaphor for today's political "half-truths", the play is ideal for theaters looking to educate while entertaining.

Five of Nalsey's ten minute plays have also been produced. The Lawyers was produced as part of The Bar Off Melrose at the Melrose Theater and later published by Samuel French. After joining The Playwrights Group (TPG), her Four Chairs was produced by them in the summer of 1999. Seeing is Believing and Long Island Ice Tea were produced as part of TPG's productions at the Tamarind Theater in 2000 and 2001, respectively.
